My weight used to not change easily even after eating a lot. But that was in the past. Recently I gained a lot of weight. I realized that as you get older, your metabolism slows down. This is why instead of buying ready-to-eat sweets, I started making them by hand at home as the first step to losing weight. I’m sure this doesn’t make any sense, so let me explain. Sudden strict dietary restriction never lasts, so my strategy is to let myself keep the habit of eating sweets, but by making the sweets myself I can take control of the amount of sugar those sweets contain! Hehehe…I made many sweets so far, such as cookies, apple pie, roll cake, and puddings, but my favourite one so far is brownies. It’s very easy to make and always comes out delicious. The recipe I use says you can put sugar in the range of 90g to 130g as one likes, so I started with 90g of sugar first. It was good. Then I tried 130g – and it was FANTASTIC. So now I always put the maximum amount of sugar the recipe recommends. Happily ever after. I still hope I will lose weight someday though (☝︎ ՞ਊ ՞)☝︎
